Water

Sod it. I'll just leave the cold tap on out of spite

Who ever did the planning for the past 20 years should have ensured that the supporting infrastructure was in place for all the new buildings, and not let it get to a point where part of the country runs out of water on the basis of six "dry" months

Running out of water is bloody third world stuff

When something happens up north, lets say the floods from 2007/9 its news for a few days and then talk and not much else

But a drought in the home counties around London, now that is a real disaster which needs dealing with
 
Agreed, what's a few dead sheep, a part timer and a few old bridges gone got to do with a drought of the capital?
 
Its time the South East started paying a decent price for water so money can be invested to save all the rain and snow melt that goes to the sea. They have the cheapest water in the country then winge when it runs out.
 
I think the north should devolve from the south. The border shall be set at Newcastle.

I'm off to B&Q to get a geet long hose. I'm gonna run it all the way down south (Sunderland), and sell my water. 'Roll up, roll up, come and get ya water! Just £50 a squirt'. :P

Why should the rest of the country care if London dries up, shrivels up and is no more?
