Whenever either hot water or heating is demanded the boiler kicks in, the pilot ignites and then the burners light also as expected. Howver then almost instantly the burners go out. The boiler continues to whirls and the burners light again, but then go out. This process will just continue until the demand is ended. The reset button does not pop. The pin in the diverter is in the correct position (out for hot water/in for heating) and is steady. The diverter was replaced about a year ago. So I can't think any other things to check that would cause this problem? Any ideas would be appreciated? Thanks in advance.

Likely to be a fan/flue/combustion fault. Corgi territory. Smaller chance, pcb.

Thanks for the swift reply. Is there any chance it could be the pump, as it doesn't appear to be running? Is it ok to take the screw completely out from the centre of the pump to see if it is rotating or will this blow the pressure in the system?

Oh right that rules out the pump then, cos it is definitely trying to light, and suceeding, but then going out. Can you guys recommend anyone in the North Kent area at all?

Cant Remember now, Do these boilers def have a pump proving switch? If not then it could be the pump, but sounds like your gonna need a corgi anyway.

As If its not, then there going to have to test the boiler ie is the gas valve getting constant power or is the PCB switching it etc.
