Replacing my 1980s WC.
To be totally hygienic and fit all new stuff, I was going to replace the plastic pan connector to the soil pipe. But I can't find a modern replacement that fits exactly.
Is it hygienic enough to use the existing plastic pan connector? Maybe I can wash the opening with bleach & water. Looks like the new WC spigot will slot in OK.

1. What is it about the new connector you've tried that doesn't fit?

2. You don't need to be that hygienic about things - who's going to be licking around the back of the WC?
