Hi guys. If i lay garden slabs on a bed of 5 cm of sharp sand, would weeds grow through the slabs gaps? Thank you

Think the simple answer is yes. Seeds will lodge in any gap and will germinate, just make sure to pull them as soon as they appear if you don't want to go down the weedkiller route.

yes weeds will come through, and the slabs will move and sink and become uneven over time.
