I’m looking at my sons new house. It has a recently installed Worcester 28 is combi. There is no room thermostat and only one radiator thermostat in the lounge. I understand the previous owner used a Drayton programmer to turn the heating on and off, and that’s it. Very black and white. I want to fit a wireless thermostat, preferably portable, and leave the heating on permanently, using water on demand. Any suggestions on best make and model That can manage the heating this way while leaving water on demand.

Pretty much any single channel thermostat will be suitable. If you get a programmable one (that does both time and temperature) you can get rid of the Drayton programmer and just use the thermostat for everything.

There is no control of hot water, other than by turning on a hot tap.
