Thanks for clearing that up. I have the rough idea that the signals are multiplexed on several different frequencies from each mast, but didn't know the terms used. I can see that "band" isn't right. Seems like the terminology needs to catch up.

To be honest, these days I'm more interested in the thing just working than in the finer points of the system. When it doesn't then you have to start reading up about the damn things!
