Welding cable 25mm

Hi,
Is it possible to use multistrand welding cable for panel wiring ?
I am making up a generator ATS panel and as the welding cable is so flexible, it would be easy to use.
Or do i have to use another multistrand panel wiring single core cable.
Any help appreciated.

I doubt that 'welding cable' is rated for use with mains, and also establishing it's rated current carrying capacity would be difficult.

Have a look for tri rated mains cable.
