I'm told that for some reason of his own, mottie thinks it's a good idea to repeat a false story he made up.
What it has to do with renewable electricity generation is not clear.
It is a sad reflection on his character that not only does he invent stories in attempt to denigrate others, he is so obsessive that he repeats them again and again, year after year.
Perhaps he carries a burning resentment.

By starting a war in the Gulf he is reducing availability in almost all other countries. But not in US which is a big producer
(Sad for his erstwhile allies)
And pushing up the world price
Which increases profits for US producers (costs unchanged, sales price up)
And gives him an excuse to help his buddy Putin by relaxing sanctions and allowing more Russian oil and gas to be sold, at higher prices, filling the Russian war chest and funding their war on Europe.
