Have published there report on Ted Heath , general consensus from what I have heard is that its
basically an attempt to justify there ***t investigation.

waste of tax payers money

Cost of this fiasco should be taken out of the police federations funds ;) or the chief constables pension fund

I think Mike Veale should resign, but I know he won't. This was a daft excercise from the start, and as most of the supposed victims are already dead, as is the alleged perpetrator, just what was the point of this witch hunt. And how much compensation has been given to those supposed victims I wonder.

You're having laugh there; they don't bother to investigate the current ones.

Apparently Edward Heath's godson has been on the tv saying that Ed was a kind, caring human being (specially as he gave him £50 afterwards):LOL::LOL::LOL:

Similar to the mccann scandal, a certain amount of money gets set aside for a particular operation, and most of it ends up being misused and squandered on nonsense. I don't expect any more or less from the police, they are a business just as any other.

How about investigating some historical burglaries .

True. Very lucrative trade to be in as a con, given that unarmed burglary carries a maximum 7 year sentence, hence why the hatton garden thieves are already walking the streets after their million + £ score + the police basically don't bother to investigate burglaries, they don't even turn up on most occasions.

Apparently, they've recorded 26 of the allegations as crimes, and that will allow the "victims" to get compensation. Odd the how Heath would only have been questioned over 7 of the allegations though.

The Met police made a complete shambles investigating Harvey Proctor.

They must have wasted loads of money investigating a paodophile ring that never existed all on the evidence of 'Nick'.
