Looking for a grab adhesive to fix a vinyl to a sealed ply-therefore non water absorbent which results in the possibility of using water based adhesives a non starter. The vinyl is to be fixed to the ceiling of a narrow boat. Hoping to avoid a contact adhesive because of the obvious physical difficulty of successful placement.

The spray on adhesive is a good suggestion, as you can spray a small section, and then push on the vinyl, then just keep progressing over the whole area in manageable sections.
