    The acoustics for the Royal Marine rendition of the Last Post in St George's Chapel must have been spine tingling. It was impressive on the TV and a very emotional farewell to an old and respected jack tar. RIP Sir, your duty is done.

    Sewing Bee! They are doing something with sarongs this week. Mrs Mottie reminded me of a pink sarong I bought her in the Seychelles 40 years ago! She still has it and takes it with her whenever we go on a beach holiday. That’s older than a lot of people on here!

    Grand designs. Some twat is making a house out of poured concrete. Costing a fortune. I’ve seen it before and it turns out bloody 'orrible. Looks like an underpass.
