What are you watching on TV right now?

Second half turned out to be more fun than roasting chicken: never a pen. butthe ref was a homer, itching to give the Gooners something for their incessant whinging. Kai Havertz: why? No wonder Chelsea sold him. Turkish goalkeepers can't kick for toffee but sure know how to save a pen.

After all that and a good dinner it was time to see if the new miniseries on N.flix was any good. It is. If you saw The Revenant and enjoyed it, then American Primeval is right up your dusty gulch. Same writer for both and he really knows how to make you feel the savage elements that went into settling the North Western States. John Wayne wouldn't last five minutes.

We were both watching the news today, they showed a piece about them lowering the chandelier at Blackpool. We both simultaneously burst out laughing, can anyone guess why?

Lucan, on Iplayer. The son of the murdered nanny, trying to track down Lucan. I was absolutely convinced he had found him, until the final moments, pulled the rug.

Midway - Film 4, trying to watch, the audio is absolutely terrible. Our normal level is around 20, to hear the words it has to be turned up to 50, but the sound effects then are absolutely deafening. CGI is equally bad..

Man vs Bee: Rowan Atkinson house-sits for a wealthy couple who go on holiday and leave their expensive home in his hands - big mistake! He spends the whole week attempting to evict the irritating insect with total incompetence and chaos. What he does to a £2m E-Type Jag will make a strong man weep.

An t-eilean. (The island) I've just finished watching this on the iplayer. I saw the first two episodes on normal telly, but I couldn't wait, so I watched the last two on iplayer. It's worth watching.
A dysfunctional family's world is shattered in a tense, twisting story of lies, loss and long-buried secrets. Groundbreaking Gaelic thriller.
