I often think to myself when watching the 'murcan golf, how the area around the courses is so flat.

Apart from the occasional tournament out west, it seems to be flatter than a witch's tit.

The thing about golf is you can never see the ball in flight...

[Mottie]

What ball?

[mikehammer69]

Hmm Newsnight my weeknight viewing

Was going ok until they started using the phrase 'electoral suicide' more than once

I think less of them when they throw that word into a conversation , although they don't have the awareness to know better . Not everyone is affected by suicide.

Mobland. Series 2 episode 3. A fair bit of it (more in season 1) is filmed where I worked in Canning Town. A lot of it in and around the Peacock Gym. I think Tom Hardy knows Tony and Martin Bowers who own the gym.

Esther! Programme about Esther Rantzen, obvs. She did a lot of good things for a lot of people.
