Hi all,

Any ideas what I can do here to hide the ducting?

I'm not too fussed about the pipe across the top of the units as it'll be hidden by the plinth.

It's the piping coming directly out of the extractor fan.

Can I box it in?

Any other ideas welcome.

Thanks!

Jon

Box it in, no problem...even a high level plinth connecting the two cupboards (top of the extractor level) would look better.
John :)

Looks a mess should have been routed straight up and across the ceiling.
Then chimney that comes with the hood would hide.

Plinth, do you not mean pelmet/crown/trim.
Plinth is floor kickboard etc.
We know what you meant though.

I would be tempted to run a shelf full depth of the wall units to each side of the hood matching them in the material and if that's not enough fit cornice to the wall units and shelf. Apply a cornice deep enough to hide the pipes etc. from a standing point of view, this would not only hide the pipe but tie the whole lot in, decoratively speaking...pinenot :) View media item 67880

That's just crying out for a flyover shelf (like pinenot suggests. BTW I'm assuming you still have the chimney for the extractor?
