We are looking to install two new windows. The two windows are next to each other externally but separated by a wall internally. There is no brickwork between the two windows rather a panel which matches the window frames. What do you call this panel in between the two windows? Or is the whole thing one big frame with two windows. Please look at the attached photos. Thanks very very much!

Most profile producers make frame extensions, 'add ons' we call them, up to 50mm wide giving you the 100mm to cover the wall if fixed to each window, you would then need a trim called 'd' mould to cover the joint, or ask for a corner post if the wall is bulit in 3" blocks, dont forget to tell the supplier that you want a full length cill, not two for each window.

From the description I'd have gone with woody but after looking at the pictures it's probably a mullion, but then again it's just possible this "panel" is little more than cosmetic and so it really is a panel?
