I need to fit a new mirrored cabinet to bathroom wall.

Walls are plasterboard, cabinet weighs about 13kg. Has 4 fitting points, one in each corner.

What plugs/fixings would you recommend? The reviews of all seem mixed so would be good to know what people have successfully used!

Thanks

I've used literally dozens (maybe hundreds) of the hollow wall anchors, and they have served me well over the years- I like them. However, I'm getting more and more failures from the Screwfix ones- tighten down and they keep turning; threads stripping when using the setting tool. Not many, but once you've made the hole and inserted the anchor, if it pulls up a scrunches the anchor, you're stuffed if it strips.

Does anyone else make them?

Plasplugs or something like that. I think they invented them -- or Ficher

Thanks for the replies, I got the metal anchors like suggested and has worked well. Hopefully the cabinet will still be up in the morning!

Fischer, but they are a lot more expensive. SF easy fix I've found ok but specs/production quality can change with some of their accessories IME
