What is a 20 Newton Brick

I ask as we have a pillar supporting 2 major structural steels whcih according to the drawings should be 20N brick. However it is a mix of semi-engineering and facing brick.

Would this likely to be adequate?

A typical facing brick is 20N/mm, engineers are about 3x as much.

Check what strength your bricks are with your suppliest but normally they are 20+
