Just saw an ad on TV for a program but it is only on Sky or Freesat.
What is Freesat, how do I get it and how much does it cost?

Be grateful for any info.

Sorry, I should have said

Over 140 digital TV and radio channels
HD TV programmes subscription-free
No contract, no subscription, just one payment
Now Available to almost every home in the UK

Its basically freeview over satellite, so you pay for the box (and the dish if you dont have one) and get the above.

Thanks disinfo,
wife wanted to watch Patrick Swayze in North& South but not laying out that kind of dosh just for that. She can stick with Freeview in the bedroom or Virgin in the living room!

Cheers mate.

The Panasonic PZ plasma range also have inbuilt freesat tuners which is handy. I suspect they will become standard in future models of LCD and plasma TVs too just like freeview.

Quote-What is 'conny'?

Well conny onny is a thick creamy milk, like evaporated milk but much thicker, and we used to put it on a butty when we were kids.

However, in this case it is my sign on name and nothing to do with milk, thick or otherwise![/quote]
