We moved into a house, which has white/peach patterned tiles to the ceiling, together with a peach bathroom suite.

We are going to change this to a white suite.

However, what are the current trends regarding tiling ?

Is it still the done thing to fully tile every wall in the bathroom.

What colour schemes look best ? Walls with one patterned tile only, or maybe white/cream tiles with a pattern running through, or maybe just random 'feature tiles'

thanks

trends are toward larger tiles at the moment, natural stone and stone effect is very popular.
Decors or feature tiles are hardly used at all these days, lots of horizontal and vertical borders or drops are in use though - especially strips of mosaic tiles to achieve this.
Zoning - one wall or a section in a different colour or texture such as slate strips or split face stone is also popular.

Colour is a personal thing but the emphasis now is on plain tiles or very light texture
