I would call it an internal corner bracket.
You could make something that would do the same job from a thicker piece of Perspex with polished edges, drilled and tapped to suit.
One thing about the original is it looks a bit like the output from a 3D printer that I saw on a TV program the other day. It was a different object, but it had that "look"
