What is this thing that fell from my spotlight

This bulb-looking thing fell out of my spotlight HOWEVER, tis not a bulb!

Even in its absence the light still shines brighter than ever.

someone has suggested that it’s part of the bulb and the rest is stuck inside, but as you can see from the pic, there’s nothing remaining inside…?!

I just need to know what it’s called so I can order a new one.

please help, it’s the third thing that’s broken this week and at this rate I’ll be living in a pile of sticks by summer.

It's a reflector and cover. It's part of the light, you can't buy it as a separate item. Was probably glued in and the glue has failed.
There is no separate 'bulb' either, it's an integrated unit - when it breaks, the whole thing has to be replaced.

Depending on the exact design, there may now be dangerous voltages exposed inside.
