What, no Trade Deal?

The US approach to international negotiations:

"We fax them our terms and tell them where to sign."

It works with a small, weak partner, desperate to catch a few crumbs that fall from the rich man 's table. Like, er, Alexander de Piffle.

But a strong, determined, wealthy co-operative of developed nations, a huge single market able to enforce its own laws even against billionaire multinationals? No.
Very true...

The US was trying to force TTIP on the EU...

An 'agreement' that favoured US corporates over elected governments/trading blocs...

With any 'disputes' settled in secret courts (ISDS)...

The EU told the US to take a hike...

The EU is big enough to face down the bully!

The UK was all in favour of it being rushed through...

Now it is too small to even pick up those crumbs!

And also mess up the USA's trade balance. Some snippets about how well one of their companies is doing

International Trade Secretary, Liz Truss, today announced that Ford has received a £625 million loan facility from commercial banks with support from a £500 million guarantee from UK Export Finance (UKEF) during a visit to Ford of Britain’s engine production plant in Dagenham.

Ford took $6B government loan in 2009 — and debt still haunts company. -USA

They will be low interest loans.

No problem with state aid, one of the benefits of brexit, but state aid to a truly british owned company.

Blup

there is a very simple reason:

greed and power are what drives world orders, they will not collaborate and compromise their own drive for power.

There is no trust amongst world leaders.

So please give up on New World Order sh1t
There's some truth in what you say, history tells us empires implode.
Let's hope that's the case.

So the eu have got the likes of Monsanto, Google, Amazon, big pharma ect, etc dancing too their tune now whilst they all shiver their ****** off waiting for Putin too turn the gas back on.

Sorry to burst your cult like bubble, but where did you read that EU countries couldn't give state aid to companies?

And many countries in the EU have far greater numbers of services/companies under state control than in the UK, which in itself is state aid...

Another brexiteer myth is that companies can't be nationalised in the EU...

Oops that's another lie!

Not doing very well on those desperately sought after 'brexit benefits' are you

When you say "there's not a higher authority..." can i safely assume you're not referring to any deity of some kind?
So who, with your 'questioning mind' do you think is pulling the strings of these politicians?
The freemasons, common purpose, seemed to have done alright for themselves on a global scale, so I d be surprised there's not some more enterprising souls with a view to a one world order.
Some things are already happening now where governments follow the same rules, on the virus, global warming and they e even set up a European court for human rights, facilitating mass immigration on an industrial scale.

Completely bonkers!

They also may use subsidies in some areas. It's interesting that France's and Germany's business energy costs are lower than ours.

The part about the ECHR and immigration is of course bonkers...

It's about basic human rights, but the interpretation sometimes goes astray...

But as to the other bit about a 'one world order'?

How about you google 'great reset', 'prince (now king) charles' and 'Davos'...

"According to Prince Charles, the economic recovery must put the world on a path to sustainability, which would include carbon pricing. Prince Charles emphasized that the private sector would be the main drivers of the plan"

And then look around and you'll see that the 1% are already in control...

Still think that is 'Completely bonkers'?

Especially interesting as we are told we are far less reliant on russian energy...

Of course we are still subject to the global market.

But since we are now a much smaller player and have a government that doesn't give a toss about it's population, then we as a whole suffer worse than those who live in the 'European social model' !

Think you've made my case. 'the nudge factor' lots of examples of where the masses are given ideas that seem to be good and meet with approval. Then when they're put into law turn out to be a turkey but it's too late when youve been stitched up
