I'm after a little help here, as i'm not that clued up about plumbing but we are going to be completely re-fitting our upstairs bathroom in the next few weeks.

Currently installed is an old Mira Excel, must be at least five years old judging by the yellowing of the plastic. It runs directly from the Combi (Baxi 80Eco), mixing the cold and hot feeds <-- that's the extent of my plumbing knowledge!

What should i replace it with? Don't want something too expensive (circa £150), and also would like a direct-fit as possible.

Cheers, Andy. :D

Why replace it? Mira showers are probably the best you can get. The Excel is still in production and spares are still available..

Well, as we're re-doing and updating the whole room i thought it would be a good idea to replace the shower unit with a new 'fresh' unit. The current one is very dated... white plastic which has gone yellow with age.
