What size jack-hammer?

Hilti TE2000 - https://www.hilti.co.uk/c/CLS_POWER...25/r6025050?activeTab=preconfigured-kits-tabs - excellent machine, will go through it at a reasonable rate

Hilti TE3000 - https://www.hilti.co.uk/c/CLS_POWER...5/r11668382?activeTab=preconfigured-kits-tabs - the best option, but it weighs 30KG so exhausting. It's a slower impacting machine, with loads of power. If you have the strength, it will be quicker.

Hire one for the day, or the weekend so you can take more breaks. I hate breaking foundations up.

I don't think hedge roots would be too bothered if the strip was left in.
My wife (quite the horticulturalist) seems to think that the would good down deeper than the concrete so would be impeded.
