Hi,

I'm gonna have C/H installed from scratch and would like some advice for budgeting purposes on which output Vaillant (LPG) combi boiler I should get.

House is 2 bed with 1/2 metre thick solid walls and will have 10 rads totaling approx 17kw. It has one bathroom and no en-suite.

Village has no mains gas (at the moment).

Two questions really,

1. Should I go for the 831 or the 837 based on performance/requirements?

2. In the Vaillant brochure says a LPG model is available for the 831 but doesn't say if a LPG kit available to convert nat gas models.
(important because I don't want to have to fork out for a new boiler should nat gas reach us)

Or should I go for the 837 which has a LPG kit available.

Thanks in advance

Forget about buying the LPG version. They all work on LPG, just need the installer to commission them for LPG. No conversion kit needed.

Size should be determined on your hot water needs, as they are all capable of coping with your heating needs.
