Hi,

I'm trying to decide whether to install a small bath (1500mm) in a flat i'm developing. The flat only has electric heating so will need a zip boiler for the bathroom sink and bath ( if i fit one) - what size is needed to fill a small bath in a reasonable time ?

tia,
Mike.

24 kW will give about 8 litres per minute in the winter.

How long you think is reasonable is up to you and the depth you want!

OK Guys - i'm not an expert clearly, are there alternatives ?

What you must remember Mike with hot water heating; the more you can store the less it'll cost you to run & the smaller the electrical supply you'll need.
OK it's not always easy to accommodate a hot water cylinder in a flat, but it's the best route to go down.
Is the property heated by electricity?
