what sort of ladder required

hi

i have a customer wanting the front of his house repainting.

Its a terraced house with a half flight of steps going up the the front door from pavement level. My problem is there is a protruding square bay window with a sloped roof.

Is there any sort of ladder I can hire that is suitable to clear this and allow access to the second floor above it?? or is scaffolding required??

hope this makes sense - please let me know if any more info is required
