Well Amandaeb, you could try this next time some irritating neighbour makes such an assinine request by doing the following.

Adopt a would weary demeanour and reply "I am sorry, but I am unable to attach anybody to the colonic irrigator right now 'cos the levers jammed on MAX and if I power it up with you on the end of it we would turn your vital organs into miscellaneous offal. On the other hand if you are prepared to pay up front?...
