What timber should I be getting the timber merchants to quote for to use for decking frame/joists?
Frame will be raised about 4 inches above an existing patio. Deck will be approx 6.1m x 3.4m
I know I need 6 x 2 (or 150 x 50) but am confused about the other specs.
I have seen C16, C24, treated and regularised mentioned in various combinations and am now thoroughly confused!
Confirmation as to exactly what I need to ask for would be appreciated.
I am in West Sussex and looking at Stamco & Wenbans for pricing. Any preference or anyone else I should consider?
