What switch do l need?

I need a 3 gang with 2 dimmer switches and 1 on/off switch. I want the 2 dimmers to be 2 way and the other just on/off.

The picture l have attached reads to me that the 2 dimmers are 1 way and the other is a 2 way, so this would be wrong option for me?

If wrong, can anyone tell me which unit l need please.

That looks like self assembled BG Nexus grid, it is rare to buy it like that as you usually buy the components you need. where is that pic from.

Nearly all push on and off dimmers are 2 way, whereas rotary on and off dimmers are always 1 way.
Rotary dimmers are rare nowadays

It's from an online supplier called Electrical Outlet.

Ok, looks like they will send you it in parts, the dimmers they give you are 2 way according to the makers website, what made you feel there 1 way

Just the way it read in the description

If l got 2 of these for opposite ends of a room, you think that both dimmer switches will work as 2 way?

I just want to be sure as they're not cheap

A 2 way dimmer is used with a 2 way switch.
The switch turns the light on/off at whatever level the dimmer is set to.
The dimmer does the same, plus can adjust the light level.

You can't have 2x 2 way dimmers controlling the same light.

If you want dimming from 2 or more locations, then you will need devices designed for that purpose, such as these: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Main_I...ng_Accessories~Dimmers_All/IQ_Dimmer_Modules/ where you have one dimmer and one or more additional controllers connected to it. Some changes to existing wiring may be required.

That's what l was getting at. Wanting a dimmer at both ends of the room controlling the same lights.

I didn't know they didn't work like a normal 2 way set up and needed additional parts

A lot of the early 2 way dimmer switches had the dimmer on a contact (as opposed to COM), the idea being they could be dimmed from both ends... Wha wha whaaaaaa...
what a terrible mess that created, it might have been just as good to provide 2 1 way dimmers. It wasn't too bad when they used the 'fully anti clockwise switch' as that provided the live for the opposite dimmer but with push button operation a big no no. At least now there is a half a chance of the dimmer being left in some sort of 'on' state.
