Kept our first boat at Cobbs Quay in Hamworthy, 2 years maybe getting on for 3 before we moved it up to North Wales. Always enjoyed our time at Poole.

Folk around these parts used to dream of winning the star prize on a gameshow. None even thought about what they were supposed to do with it.... :unsure:

The ones our council are clearing are usually sunken wrecks. Worth enquiring round boatyards though. Although cheap, I doubt many are fianancially viable.

/\ This. Sometimes a marina will take control of a vessel abandoned after someone dies, but you will rarely find an economical fixer upper vs one that has been lovingly cared for, for a bit more, particularly at the cheaper end of the market.

I know that some artistes have taken a stand including A listers, however not enough of them. Or their managers are seeing that they can get an even bigger cut.

Went to The Brook in Southampton they other week - first band I've seen live in years. Use to go to Leicester SU just about weekly, affordable and usually a reasonable band (e.g. Split Endz, SB&Q, Toya, Stiff tours). Can't happen today as as most SU bars have shut...
