I had an extension done to my home, but the builders didn't install a flitch beam as per the designs. Anyway, I am finding it next to impossible to find another builder to retrofit the flitch beams. Am I doing this wrong? Should I perhaps be looking for a roofer or some other trade that specialises in this kind of work (rather than a general builder)? Any help will be gratefully received.
