What tricks do you guys have for underfloor cabling?

@ flameport. Good shout on the tlc link. I never thought to look there, I just bought the same set my mentor had, familiarity n all that!

I use the fibreglass poles from an old tent, works well for me.

I always liked the smallest size oval pipe with the end bent over and taped, and 4mm earth poked down at the other end, coils up nicely and stands out in the torch light
 
I'm with Crystal - 16mm oval and shove the bonding cable into the front end, tape over then then you can use the cable to 'lift' the nose of the conduit if you need to hop over any obstructions (rubble, pipes, dead rats...)

And being white it's much easier to spot than a cable rod
 
I've had success with a thin bingbag tied to the end of a piece of light string and a good vacuum cleaner. Sucks the binbag through, then pull a draw rope with the draw string, and your cable/wire with the draw rope.
