What was the delivery mileage on your new car, or someone that you know?

I wondered what delivery mileage on a new car should I expect?

Around the 20 mile mark - but if it's been a 'dealer transfer' - which you should have been aware of - quite a bit more, over 100, say.

I was just offered a delivery mileage peugeot 308, it had 5 miles on it. Didn't buy it in the end tho as a result of the test drive.

think the wifes tiguan had about 20 odd miles on it.

Last new car I had was in 2004 which arrived with 9 miles on it.

Thanks guys. I was put off buying a new car, partly by the useless sales men, the fact that the cars that I tried, Civic, Auris, and GT86 were no more comfortable than my Corolla, and it passed the MOT after a small amount of work. So maybe next year.
