Out of curiosity, if I was to wire the floodlight into the lighting circuit, would you guys recommend 3 core flex in 1mm2?

Could I even use 0.75mm2?

I am not an electrician------ Given the cost differential, why pay for 0.75mm rather than 1.0mm?

I'm not planning on using either
cable as I will be wiring the floodlight to a socket.

So as advised, I will use the 3 core flex, 1.5mm² in black
