Why the hell do they have to complicate a perfectly good and straightforward system?

Tried to bookmark a topic on here, and all I got was a dumb list of things I have never heard of before. Couldn't figure out how to bookmark the subject. Seems I got to share it with the world????

Before the site operators change things, perhaps they should explain how it works. Lots of us on here are middle aged, not teenage Twitterholics!

So, without having to re-configure my softywear, how do I save a bookmark....the easiest way possible??????

Got me confused too. I use watch this topic as it's more straighforward.

Anyway, just sussed it. Simply select DiyNot from the big list.

if you go into your settings you can dissable the advanced bookmark pop-up thing..

Just for:

Click settings (near the top of the page)

Click Advanced Settings tab

Next to Enable forum AddThis Bookmark/Sharing buttons:
click to put a dot in No

Click Save Changes

and then you should be able to click Bookmark this topic under a thread and it will appear in your Bookmarks list.

I disabled the same thing (bookmark setting) but decided to, for an unknown reason to disable the ajax setting also is it important and is it the reason i don't get e,mail notifications anymore
