my bathroom celing got a leak and its sagged it . so i have bought new plasterboard , 1.5 sheets should cover it long ways , or 1 sheet halved for short ways .

I have enclosed a few photos of the damage .
should I pull down all the celing , or replace damaged part , celing is artexed, so it would be hard to match it in new side or flatten it off.

the plasterboard was put up before the walls were installed , so it goes into the other rooms .

I was thinking of cutting all around the sides using a plasterboard saw , pull it all down then measure and offer up new piece , the joints run longways .
