They were hosted on his website, and that's gone too...
Dont mean to hijack the thread but it seems to be like the recent facebook scenario to me and relevant in this instance, ie once you publish a document, file etc to the web and the public domain unless you specifically claim copyright then cannot admin here have copied them over to their server(s)? Maybe something for the future to protect the sticky infos?

The pictures could be copied from archive.org. It would need moderator / admin assistance to replace the picture links in the original posts.
