Yeah, because they only got those quotas through the EU. You might have missed it but we won’t be in the EU anymore from January so we don’t have to abide by their rules.

UK has asked for tariff free access to the Single Market.

Well the Single Market is sovereign to the EU and they've said.....you gotta abide our rules if yer wants access.

As you`ve read the fisheries bill yourself, when do they expire or is there any mention of amendments.

The sales of quotas that are permanent are just that.

It is legally tricky to get back existing UK quota from the ownership of foreign companies

The fisheries bill does talk about foreign vessels having to land catch in UK and have 50% UK citizens working on the ships....but it's not enforceable.

The fisheries bill is weak and doesn't prevent supertrawlers nor does it address sustainable fishing.
It's a missed opportunity.
 
Why are you arguing about fish?
Brexit has never been about what's good for you. Get over it, the toffs won.
