What's the wiring type?

Since no-one else has yet answered my question, perhaps you could explain to me where this information is to be recorded on an EIC?
The programme I use does indeed ask for the cable type and installation reference method of each circuit including sub-main. I am not sure if it is an actual requirement.
Fair enough.
However, I note that on the IET sample forms the reference method only is required. This, though, is not really much use if the cable type is not recorded.
I agree that installation method is not much use without cable type, but I'm not even clear as to where you're finding a place on the IET sample forms for recording installation method? Where am I missing it?

Kind Regards, John.

Can't find an example, but ours ask for cable type on the page with all the test results.
Do you mean the Schedule of Test Results? I see no mention of either installation method or cable type (only live/CPC CSAs) on the IET's sample forms (or in BS 7671 or GN3) - am I missing something?

Kind Regards, John

Well, I've looked in the OSG, page 147, and I can't see it either.

But lots of forms do have it on the schedule of test results page.
