I think they may be wondering how are they going to cope? Wandering like lost souls in a desert thinking they can't go on with life as they know it.
Maybe some will think about getting that thing called 'a job'. Even contemplating what a lorry driver does thats so exciting because they seem to be in the news a lot.

I wonder if they switched off all these crappy devices and apps for six months if it would solve workers shortage, folk might start doing something useful than faffing with their phones all day long - probably sort out all the mental health problems so many seem to think they suffer from. the 'I've been playing with my phone for 16 hours a day and now my brain doesnt work properly' bandwagon
and fewer accidents in the street, as people walk out in front of traffic.

Based on the early reports of the problem. It's another good example why, ID cards are bad. With FB, the Identity management platform was all linked to Facebook IDs, which meant they couldn't even get in to the building.
