Looks like Rishi doesnt believe in what he is saying - he doesn't want to hand over BJ Whatsapp messages - I wonder why?

Ministers have launched an unprecedented high court attempt to avoid handing over Boris Johnson’s unredacted WhatsApp messages and diaries to the government-commissioned public inquiry into the handling of Covid.

In a move immediately condemned by bereaved families and opposition MPs, the Cabinet Office told the inquiry, headed by the retired judge Heather Hallett, that there were “important issues of principle” over passing on information that might not be relevant.

Looks like BJ wants to get his own back at Rishi.

These lot are more interested in personal squabbles than actually governing but its what we should come to expect once you start every other sentence with Brexit.

It's probably more to do with personal political embarrassment than confirming a conspiracy theory.

Blup

Government irrespective of the political party cannot function with out confidentiality

Tis the way it is and the way it always has been

Simples

Confidentiality in some areas of Government, yes.

But not this one.

...or accountability. Tis the way it's always been. Simples.

We need some Tory scandals just before GE2024, I hope they don’t run out before then

Thats what they said about the expenses scandal, moat maintenance was essential to the workings of government,

If the messages are truly confidential and irrelevant the inquiry chair will decide that.

Perhaps it’s time for you and the other whining remainers to stop mentioning it on here then?

It appears that Rishi is displaying a lack of conviction in his statements and reluctance to hand over Boris Johnson's WhatsApp messages. One can't help but wonder about the reasons behind this behavior. The Cabinet Office's attempt to avoid sharing the unredacted messages and diaries with the public inquiry into Covid handling has drawn criticism from bereaved families and opposition MPs. It seems like there are personal disputes at play between Boris Johnson and Rishi, which is unfortunate considering their responsibilities lie in governing rather than engaging in personal conflicts. However, given the frequency of Brexit being mentioned, such political disagreements may have become somewhat expected.

Mails still got Schofield and the royals as front page news when all news outlets should be over this like a rash.
The money Rishi hosed up the wall for the eat out scheme and the increase in lives lost during that period should be front and back page news.
