Hi all,

I had to replace the rubber flappy valve in my cistern today, but whilst replacing it, I noticed the cistern seal (between cistern and pan) is split and leaked when I tried to use it again.

I've dismantled the toilet for the night, but my local Homebase doesn't seem to have any of these seals.
The ID of the seal must be in the region of 2-3 inches..

Do B?&Q have things like this, or do I need to go to a specialist?

thanks,
Matt

you can get them from diy stores but they useally only stock about 2 kinds and there is lots of different kinds and trying to make do with one don't always work.
there are many times when you need to get the correct one.
do you know the make of the toilet cistern ?

hi,
I looked inside the cistern and the only thing I can really see stamped on the inside is TSE. looked like a logo as it was within a diamond shape.
Could that be the manufactuer?
