Where can i buy a new or recon p.c.b for a vokera 20/80 rs flowmatic ?

The relay on the board has gone faulty and is smoking !!

Not sure if this is caused by another part failing and putting extra load on the relay ?

no i haven't, i will give them a try. hope that it is just the board. I have just bought this house and found the boiler is in need of some major attention. will probably end up buying another 1 when i have the money.

I've a second hand one you can have for £30 plus postage.

I have found a recon board on fleabay for £25.53 + postage.

I am reluctant to buy it coz i am thinking that there is not really a lot that can go wrong with a relay and the only reason that it would be smoking is if it is overloaded caused by another component failure.

money is an issue had to fit new bathroom, kitchen and gas fire was lethal ( never seen anything like it ) opening had to be rebuilt.

Has anyone got experience with this boiler and can tell me if the relay would fail for no reason. Or is it likely to be overloaded due to another part failing ?

The relays on those boards fail all by themselves

Not much there to kill the relay. It is just good old wear and tear of contacts doing their work.
