Where to ocate underfloor heating controls

Should the controller be at switch level outside the bathroom or at floor level like sockets? What's normal practise?

First see what the installation instructions say. If you've got a choice go for a level where it will be easy to see the control panel and make changes.

More likely to be at switch height due to the need for setting time, programmes etc.

I usually put the FCU for the floor (with RCD, if necessary) at socket height and the controller at switch height.

Note: if your controller has an internal air temerature sensor, the manufacturer may specify a mounting height.
