Where would you start when using different types of tile?

Hi,
I'm renovating my bathroom at the moment, lots of work already done and I'm about to start tiling the shower area tomorrow.

I was planning on starting on the back wall first (the biggest wall) then follow round at the same height on the joining walls, then the floor - but one of the walls has a rough/raised tile finish so wondering if that makes a difference on where to start - the base is a mosaic.

Any advice?
The walls are all tanked with Jackoboard and Ardex water proofing system.

Thanks
Mark

Difficult to keep clean of spilt adhesive I know but I would start with the floor and tile down on to it, you will get a better joint/seal around the bottom that way.
Covering the floor tiles with cardboard should help keep them clear of spills during tiling the walls.
