Usually my 'Holdtite' box of 12 different O rings has the right sized replacement. Every now and then (like this week!!) I get a job that I can't complete because there isn't a correct sized replacement.

Plumb Center are no help, the Holdtite selection is all they sell in the o ring line.

Where can I buy a larger assorted box, with a better selection?

Thanks for any pointers.

there are many box sets on ebay. I about 10 boxes of o ring sets each box with over 100 and still need to order special ones occassionally.

I found a box of O rings in poundland the other day :D :D

matty Your just paying for the name shopping in those designer places.

One would hope that the rings in the more professional places are nitrile rubber which is a much better spec.

The pound show ones are probably recycled tyres or some other poor quality product whouch is probably unsuitable for boilers etc.

The big reddish brown box from merchants seem to be not that bad quality and a good selection.
