Which combi boiler replacement? Vaillant EcoFit Pure vs Baxi 800 vs Ideal Logic 2

My 14-year-old Mains Eco 30 combi has died and repair quote is £1,000, so replacing seems the sensible option.

Property: 2 bed + box room terrace, East of England. Single heating zone, manual TRVs on radiators. This is our long-term home.

Current setup: Tado X thermostat (wireless) which I’d like to keep/reuse if possible.

Got three quotes back, all around 30kW:
1. Vaillant EcoFit Pure 30kW - £2,820 inc VAT (10yr parts & labour warranty)
2. Baxi 800 30kW - £2,952 inc VAT (10yr manufacturer warranty)
3. Ideal Logic 2 30kW - £2,498 inc VAT (10yr warranty)

Questions:
• Any strong preferences between these three? All seem reputable but I’m torn
• The Ideal is noticeably cheaper - is there a catch, or is it just good value?
• Anything else I should be asking the installers or considering?
All three plumbers seem decent with good reviews. Just want to make sure I’m not missing something obvious before committing £2.5-3k!

Thanks in advance for any wisdom!

Ideal logic may have a plastic front case, which if the hinges snap is in the region of £170 just for the replacement! Vaillant and Baxi would probably be my choice. Vokéra seem to get decent opinions on here. What’s up with the existing Vaillant other than it’s died?

My bad. The I got the models mixed up. My current one is a MAINS eco 30. Some parts were missing and a number of leaks were detected during a service. So the boiler had to be put out of action. So no ch or hw. They said the parts were small but given where they were it would need new front plates and all in all we’re looking at £1000 worth of parts and labour for a boiler that’s already at end of life. They said they’re phasing out the boiler and a lot of the parts are getting very expensive. So likely would see similar high repair bills if anything else went wrong in the future.

Vokera Pinnacle 30kW knocks the socks off any of those and comes with a 12 year warranty. Or the Vokera Synergy with a 10 year warranty is a good option too.

Note that the quality of the installation is as important as the boiler itself. A good boiler thrown in in a hurry still won't be reliable or efficient.

Don't forget to look at the minimum output on CH, very important to prevent excessive/any cycling at low heating demands.

go with the baxi with its proven reliability as all the innards are brass and doesnt suffer the failure of the others which are full of plastic components which over time leak like sieves .It also has a stainless steel heat exchanger which the vaillant and ideal dont
