I am starting to Tile, the floor and the walls.
Whch one should i start first , do i do the floor first.
Is there any reason there is an order.

do the wall first, that way it keeps the floor tiles cleaner if you do them last. Dont start the walls tiles at floor level, it may not be totally level. Use a batten thats been set level for the next course up and start from there.

Having done the walls using the batten, should you then do the floor tiles, and then fit the bottom row of wall tiles?
Is it more watertight to have the wall tiles sealed to and resting on the floor tiles?

Thanks

non wet areas ... just tile

if the shower head is faced used on any areas forced water , it needs tanking ... FACT...

Uk standards now ..
