I'm about to install a new bamboo floor in my living room (floating over concrete and suitable underlay). However, I want to put down a DPM and whilst I don't mind paying more for the correct thing, I wondered what the difference between these products are. I'm guessing they are different thickness/strength, but can I use the first one as my DPM as this would work out more economical for the area I need to cover. (23m2) Or should I use one of the others? Grateful for any advice from anyone that can offer a definite answer. Thanks

The second link (1000g) is the minimum dpm thickness you should use. All tho you only need this if you have a dpm problem (above 75%rh). If you dont have a moister problem (below 75%rh ) you dont need the plastic dpm sheet. Just a vapour barrier underlay. Something like timbermate xl or quickstep combi underlay. Quickstep also state there combi underlay to be a dpm underlay, but be careful as they also tell you to install to british standard. If installing to british standard the subfloor should already have a working dpm! So there speaking rubbish!
